The film presents a regular workday of several female factory workers.

Their basic working tool is their body, ready to execute strenuous manual tasks. Feeling confined, they seek a sheet anchor, a way out, an escape. They venture into the unknown, dance, drift and float in the air.

Alen has been blind for six years. Just before Christmas, he receives a phone call. It is Richard, who tells him he has a device that will make him see again. Alen's expectations are high. One evening after a long wait, in the company of his instructors, Richard gives him the device. Will Alen really see again?
